Blueberry Antioxidant Smoothie

Who doesn’t love a flavourful sweet smoothie in the morning that is packed with nutrients? Not only is this smoothie packed healthy nutrients like protein, potassium, and fiber but it is packed with antioxidants! Blueberries are a great source of antioxidants so I love to saturate my smoothie with them. However, the real source of antioxidants is the goji berries. Antioxidants provide anti-aging benefits and restorative properties plus they are said to decrease the risk of cancer and increase the lifespan.  I added a few dried goji berries to my smoothie for a rejuvenating boost plus tons and tons of blueberries. This smoothie is so healthy but truly tasty and sweet at the same time!

Makes – 2 smoothies


  • 2 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • handful spinach
  • two spoonfuls of peanut butter
  • 1 tbs flaxseed
  • a spoonful of dried goji berries


  1. Pour almond milk into a blender
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth
  3. Top with any extra fresh blueberries and serve cold
